This has been a very interesting method that i have been using to urge my fishes to spawn .
If any pairs has no activity for some time I would do a large water change ( about 70 ~ 80 % ) . An interesting fact is that it wil trigger most females to spawn . I don`t use R.O water just peat filtered water mixed with tap water ( of cause there is the usual adding of anti chorine and choromine ) .
Well if all fails I will starve the pair for maybe 2 ~ 3 days than cover up all sides of the tank and do heavy feeding for a week .
Cheers hope this is useful to guys who have diffculty in spawning their fishes .
