I have some Borellii fry that are about 7 mo. and I noticed that some of them have black on there ventral fins and some don't. Is it to soon to sex them or can I sort of guess that the ones with the darker fins might be female?

If you can't see any difference in the height of the dorsal fin or body/face color, then they are still too young for you to sex.

Thanks Mike, they still look pretty much the same as far as color and pattern goes.
