Pale band between eyes

Hi all!

Today i noticed an pale-ish band between the eyes on my A. Atahualpa female. It doesn’t look like damaged scales and i’m fairly certain it’s come within the last few days.
She eat and swims just fine.
I tried to grab a few pictures of it with my phone, so it’s probally not the best pictures.

Anyone got any ideas of what this might be?

I can't say for sure. The photos are not good enough. Are the area deeper than the surface? To me they appear to be erosion of cephalic pores, aka hole in the head.

Hi Mike! Thanks for the input. I will have to look closer, but yes that might very well be the cause.
