New Id Forum

Welcome to the The Dwarf Cichlid Forums newest addition. We have had so many posts directed to asking for indentification of species that I thought it wise to create this forum. Moderators may choose to move existing threads from other forums, if they like (might be good practice for some of our new moderators) or we can start from scratch. Either way, this should help to catagorize things even more as we continue to grow.

Because this is a relatively new forum and such an important one, I am slowly going backwards through other forums to move ID threads into it.


*Note for Mods: For the sake of archiving important identification information, please move all new identification threads into this forum. Or, if you get industrious, go back and move any appropriate threads that you come across. I am sure that I will miss a bunch, because there are alot of them.

Only thing I do not like about any forum software is the various icons related to threads. I mean it would be simpler if they just added 2 icons, one which resembled no new posts, and one that did resemble new posts, a sort of red vs green thing.

We already have the fora "South American Identification" and "African Identification". Isn't this a bit redundant?

Why is it "wise" to create this forum? Are you going to move all of the threads from "South American Identification" and "African Identification" into this forum, because that doesn't make much sense?

Did you guys look at the dates on this thread??? The last post before Mike posted was from 2009! And the thread was started January of 2005.

I'm guessing there was a spam post in this thread that brought it to the new post section and then that thread was deleted.
