M. altispinosus

What is the range of altispinosus? The latest Datz (South American Dwarf Cichlids) gives Bolivia whilst everywhere else that I can see says both Bolivia & Brazil. Are there any other references I can cite in support of the former view or are they alone in this opinion?

Many of the older books consider the Brazilian species Mikrogeophagus sp. Zweifleck/Two-patch to be the same as M. altispinosus. It is a very different species.

Forgot to include the distribution: Koslowski (2002) lists only collecting localities in the upper Río Mamoré drainage: between Trinidad & San Bajora, in the south, to San Joaquin and San Ramón in the north - all in Bolivia.

Okay thanks Mike. Just looking for some more references to support my wikipedia contribution. My edits were reverted because fishbase says altispinosus is found in Brazil.
