Hey guys, I plan on creating a sort of biotope tank based off of the lower Orinoco river.
Ive been having trouble finding plants other than Sagittarius which I plan on using. Recently ive found a great source for underwater imagery but I cant seem to find the exact species of plants. here is the video:

I'd rather presume a species of Egeria as the leaves curl back to the stem more. Rotala could be a good stand-in though.
Also visible is a species of Nymphaea, just before the stemplant gets into view.

Hi all,
Welcome, nice video.

Egeria is more likely, Rotala is an old world genus. Definitely a Nymphaea and it looks like a Macaya sp. and Tonina fluviatilis at ~1:30.

Ludwigia inclinata would also be appropriate.

cheers Darrel

I'm clueless. If I say something you can safely ignore it.
