Larvae?

What in the heck is this? Some kind of larvae? I set up a Dwarf Cichlid breeding project and these showed up just as I was ready to put in the fish. They might have come from the Magnolia and Black Willow leaves I used from outside. However, I boiled those leaves. Maybe from the two driftwoods instead?

They are harmless detritus worms from extra organic matter. There is a more in-depth discussion on the worms in this thread.

That's what I thought. Thanks! They've disappeared now. I think they were stirred up by the water change.

I'm going to go ahead and put the fish in.
