Is it A. alacrina

The photo is too small for a positive ID, but it looks like a yellow morph of Rotpunkt (Puerto Narino). I would be great to see what a female looked like. Sorry that they died.

It doesn't look like the holotype or paratype populations of A. alacrina. It looks like A. sp. Rotpunkt to me. Many German aquarists believe that they are one and the same due to early comments made in Das Aquarium and other German magazines. They might be, but probably are different. Until we have better information, it would be best to leave them as Rotpunkt and the original preserved specimens as alacrina.
