I´m here again. This time with two different fishes.

Fish # 1

I think he is the less colorful form of A. sp. Masken; also known as A. sp. Perú-regani.

Fish # 2

I think it´s a female A. bitaeniata. I´ve doubts because I mixed her with 3 different A. bitaeniata males (PH from 4.5 up to 6.0 and conductivity less than 50 ms) and nothing happens.

Thanks again.

Mike,

Both are adults (fish # 1 is about 2.2 inches and fish # 2 is about 1.2 inches) and both arrived from Peru (don´t know the place where they were caught, but with them arrived some A. panduro).

Thanks

Yes, I think that you are correct, Masken & A. bitaeniata. Your female may be a bit young for breeding or the males might be too aggressive for her. I find younger males very "pushy", while old, lazy males were more compatible with females.
