The photo was taken in a Japanese store and the origin of the fish was not known.

These are not really in my area of interest, but based on my favorite book on Teleocichla, they look much like T. sp. Tapajós I. Tapajó I, however, seems to have a longer lower jaw than your fish, but it could be just the photo.
