Recently, I bought from the importer these 6 fishes wich all of them turns to be females.

The only thing I know is that they are from Perú (wildcaught, of course)

In these 4 pictures they´re about 2 inches (5 cm)

They are not A. sp. Oregon. The flank patch is much too large. My guess is that it is either an odd population of A. nijsseni or A. sp. "Nijsseni-New"

Mmmmm, I´ll look after another buyer of these fishes. Perhaps he managed to get a male. If so, I´ll take a picture of the male.

The pictured male is not a nijsseni type fish. It's hard to get a read on what it is with the female in front but it looks more like an eunotus type.
