How to delete conversations

I can't figure out how this new format works.
I want to delete all the conversations.

I'm on android Tapatalk and I hold down to highlight the convo and than a trash can pops up in top right.

That doesn't work on any of my PC's using Win 7.
I have checked the boxes and clicked on the little x's but that doesn't delete anything.
I've never encountered a forum format like this new one.
Surely their must be a straight forward way to delete these dead conversations.

If you mean PM, you can only check the leave conversation button, no way to delete them. Its a lacking in the software. I suppose if your Admin were really froggy, he or she could go into the server files and locate the PM'S and physically delete them, but thats a lot of digging.
