Dear all, thank you for accepting me into your site. I am Rene, german and living in Costa Rica.

However, I am currently looking for a transfer to one of the Mercosur Countries.

I have been breeding and keeping Apistos for over three decades, at first cacadoides, later agas, Rams, Viejita, Macmasteri etc, these all during my youth in Germany.

After immigrating to Venezuela I dedicated my efforts to hoignei, as they were easy to collect, and to keep.

Now: after my next transfer I want to start a tank as similar to natural habitat as possible.

It will be (LxWxH in Cms) 200 x 70 x 70 with additional 160 Liters in the sump and biological filter.

The idea is to collect Borellis, Combraes, and Trifasciatus in early December 2018 in Argentina.

Now, my question is: has anyone of you ever attempted to keep these three species together in 1 tank? What size of groups would you recommend for which species?

I am always planning a long way ahead, but would love to get your input on this.

Regards,
Rene
