Hello from Missouri

Hey all,

To introduce myself, I'm a grad student pursuing a Masters degree in wildlife biology. My thesis is focused on (1) population dynamics and (2) dietary comparisons among gars (Lepisosteus spp.) in Missouri.

I'm new to apistos, but have a good deal of experience in fishkeeping. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community. One question right off the bat: Does anybody have suggestions for where to get apistos in the St. Louis area?

Thanks Gerald. Your thesis sounds interesting as well! I enjoy microfishing the clear water Ozark streams in Missouri - it's a great way to get some cool shiners for the aquarium.

And thanks for the suggestion, I'll look into it.
