anyone else getting emails from here that say someone responded to a thread you are following, only to log in and see that the thread has not been updated. Some clicky link scam maybe?

It could be a robo add/spam replied to your thread and the moderator deleted the spam post.

I've just removed 8 new spam threads. Now to check to see if any replies to posts are spam ... sigh, a never ending battle.

Just removed 9 more. They almost all are posted around 07:00 UT, so my guess is that they are coming from sources in Europe. I think we need a staff member in Europe who can catch them as soon as they are posted.
