We have a lively tank of juvenile African cichlids that has been up and running for about six months. After some changes, losses, "fight-club" tank drama . . . we decided to add just a few new ones. The largest was immediately marked out for destruction by the dominant Yellow Lab. However, two smaller ones have adjusted just fine. One is clearly a venustus. But this one pictured here we are not sure about. Is this even an African cichlid? Or is it an American? It looks like it could possibly be a juvenile Salvini Cichlid, or maybe a young Rainbow cichlid. Our LFS actually didn't know . . . the fish in question, in the photos, is the smallest shown. Experts?? What say you??

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
