Can I keep apisto Hongsloi with hypancitrus l471.
Or will apisto hurt him.

The general rule is that if your intention is to breed apistogramma they should be by themselves or with a few passive darters (rasbora, pencil fish, passive tetra like ember). Having said that i kept honglsoi with L333 and L204 in a 29. the hongsloi laid eggs and the pleco never bothered them over a period of 2 years. Sadly my water was a tad too hard for the eggs to hatch but they would last 3 or 4 days with the female dutifully guarding them. Having said this it does depend on the tank size and how it is scaped. The L471 is particularly small and i suspect shy pleco with reduces the chances of conflict.
