So I just got some juvenilish stock I think, hard to tell they are around 2cm. I've got them in a 40Lx16Hx20D tank roughly 55 gallons with a 25 gallon sump.
Water has a pH of 6.5 and tds of 90 it's mostly RODI with a touch of tap water.
No tank mates as of yet, waiting of some nice pencil fish or small tetra to come up from my supplier.

I'm looking for anyone with some tips and info on them that has kept them before Google isn't super helpful.
Questions like.....
how many should I keep in the rank, as well and M/F ratio.
Are my parameters good?
Dither suggestions?

The number of specimens depends on how complex the decor is. These are relatively small fish. They don't tend to be highly polygamous nor aggressive. Your water values are fine. This isn't an especially difficult species to get to breed. The hard part is feeding the fry during the first week of life. BBS are too large for most. Infusoria are best - or a massive amount of Java Moss. For dithers, I'd recommend dwarf pencil fish, but some of the small tetras and rasboras used for nano tanks should work as well.

Thanks Mike
The tank is over 2 years old so fairly well established, I've read this can help with feeding the fry. My Allpahuayo raised half a dozen batches in it with very little added food.
