Apistogramma moae?

I do not believe it is A. moae. Not only is the collecting locality wrong, but some of the photos show a split Bar 6 (2nd forward from the caudal spot), which A. moae does not show, the vertical bars are too prominent on the abdomen, and the patterned tail is too distinct. I believe that it is a fish more closely related to A. cf. eunotus (Schwanzstreifen/Tail-stripes).

Thanks Mike.

In effect, I had seen the bifurcation in bar 6, but I was not sure that was an Apistogramma eunotus and had never seen a photo of A. cf. eunotus "Schwanzstreifen".

Greetings,

Rafael.

Photos of A. cf. eunotus Schwanzstreifen can be seen in Koslowsk p. 74, DATZ book p.47 (A77), Römer's Atlas p.398 - 399. Your fish may not be identical to it, but it is close.
