Apistogramma Borellii?

My husband and I were recently sold 3 small fish that we were told were apistogramma borellii. They were in the same tank as Scarlet Badis though and we aren't sure if we didn't get badis instead. I guess they could just be juveniles or females but for care (like water chemistry) it would be nice to know for sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
Yes, they look like male <"Dario dario">. The sub-dominant males don't develop the scarlet colour, but females are entirely lacking in red color and stripes.

If you are in the UK, I've looked at thousands of these and I've still never seen a female for sale.
