A Question about A. Borelli

A breeder local to me is about to release a batch of F1 Borelli Opal. I am planning on setting up a 15g (24x12x12) would a pair be ok with that tank it would be heavily planted with 3-4 caves along the length of the tank. A person informed me that a pair would not work on a 15g. they would be the only inhabitants.

A 15 is fine for a pair. If properly laid-out, even for a trio. If you want to produce fry then other fish should be kept at a minimum and not be fry/egg predators. A community tank is not a good breeding tank.
