In my hands these are very delicate fish. My opinion that the aquarium is too small and the filtration is insufficient. These fish need very acidic peat filtered water. Also the general quality of the water needs to be the highest.
Do you have eggs????

well, not yet. but the female sometimes showing bright yellow coloration, the sponge filter is quite big (round 12cm/4.7" diameter and 6.5cm/2.5" high) the water parameters are: pH 6.38, ec 85 microS, tds 42ppm.
what do u think?

When I bred A. agassizii in a 10, I removed the male after spawning & left the female with the fry for at least 4 weeks. Then I removed the female. Once the fry were ½"/1.25cm, I would move them to larger grow-out tanks. In a 10, you should change about 15% of the water each day (1 week after fry become freeswimming) in order to keep the fry healthy & growing.
