A. agassizii, which location?

I was wondering if someone can tell my where my A. agassizii come from?

It's very hard to take a clear picture of him. The markings on his tail (around the black spot) are in reality a bit white and orange.

I bought them a while ago as wildcaught agassizii from a breeder, but he couldn't tell me the location.

Sorry, not from these photos. A. agassizii is a super-species that is shows highly polychromatic populations throughout its range between the Rio Maranon in Peru and the mouth of the Amazon on the Atlantic. "Wildcaught agassizii from a breeder" seems like a strange combination of terms to me. I see a pair of rather old, grossly obese fish that desperately need to go on a diet.
