1,50m biotope

8 Pterophyllum sp. Rio Nanay - 'Peruvian altum'
6 Cleithracara maronii
20 Nannostomus beckfordi
5 Sturisoma sp. Aff. festivum

Plants:
Vallisneria spiralis
Echinodorus bleheri
Hydrocotyle leucocephala

I'm currently looking for a harem Apistogramma uaupesi (preferably A. uaupesi 'Rotkeil') or Apistogramma sp. Blutkehl and 3 or 4 Hydrocleys nymphoides. The Hydrocleys won't be a problem to find, the Apistogrammas however will be a bit harder to get.

How do you manage to keep all your plants in place? How do you do with your filter outtake? Isn't it agitating the watertop?

I want to create shady effects in my tank, but having hard time keeping the vallisnerias and limnobium laevigatum stable with the current...

I have almost no current. I've blocked most of the current of my primary filter with some pieces of wood because it has to much power.
The only current is from a small Superfish Aquaflow 100, which is only to produce enough oxygen and current for the dirt to keep moving. Those filters aren't very powerful, so the plants stay in place.

Absolutely amazing tank! Those angels are stunning. I noticed runners with plantlets from your amazon sword. I've seen this many places but mine has never done this. Have you got any tips about how to get this to happen? Thanks

@rr16, I haven't got any tips unfortunately. Except for this one, I've never had any young plants from my Echinodorus.
Haven't done anything special either. I guess plenty of nutrition is the trick?

About a week ago, I finally managed to get a wild caught male ramirezi. Unfortunately, I'm still not 100% sure whether it's a male or a female.
