    they are the most commercial farm bred apisto within the hobby, usually most peoples starter apisto because they are that readily available so you should have no problem getting hold of some, but dont just go for any as alot these days can be poor quality try to pick out the best from a group...

    nope thats a female orange flash for sure, females hardly ever have any colouration in there fins its only the males that do in 95% of all apistos there are a select few that might show some colouration but not very often the ones she prob killed were prob all small males as she wanted to breed...

    doesnt seem to effect mine atal all of my apistos after leaving parents are feed mainly on tetra crisp dry foods to get them off live foods for when they are moved on as some go to shops others to community tanks etc and them places dont always have live foods available for fussy eaters

    thats also what i understand to be true aswel, also all male sex ratio which is never good when your breeding and have to move them on lol
