    i sometimes add methylene blue to angels eggs and i start making water changes as soon as they hatch ,i start with 25% (i usually take the water from the parents tank) ps can you still find methylene blue in stores in the U. S. ? they dont sell it in canada now!

    my female is much darker (also more purple) the male is bigger with longer fins , he has more yellow on him,but he does turn purple when they have babys. first picture is of the male, second picture the female is on the right. ( a good photographer i am not!)

    your tank is looking great, but when those angels start to pair up and want to lay eggs , your tank will be to small . You will have to take some of them out .

    Remove or leave the male

    i have mine in 25 gallons tanks lots of hiding places (plants rocks clay pots ) but once in a wile the female caring for babys will kill the much bigger male , now i try to remove the males. also i usually have 3 or 4 small pearl gourami in there with them and they don't bother the baby Nannacara
