Thanks for the input, Mike Wise. I am gonna scratch this idea for now. I picked up 2 40 gallon breeders and going to ease myself back into the hobby. I want to establish, for myself, that I can actually grow and maintain alot of plants before I try it with bigger water.

I guess black cacatuoides could be cool but I still prefer the blue wild forms or sometimes orange flash cf, providing their bodies still show the blue strongly.

Good to know about the pencilfish. Most tetra are fry hunters generally, yes? Are some more so than others? Would be really interesting to see a list of which dithers (specifically tetras) are avid fry hunters and which are less so or not at all.
I am not overly concerned with breeding anything so the emperors are fine. Actually to clarify, I would like them to breed but I don't care about fry surviving. My idea being, that happy fish will attempt to breed.
