Not sure how to edit to add this but yes, fish B has a SEVERE case of popeye. Unfortunately he came to me like that but I began treatment immediately and it is steadily improving. Thankfully I did a bit of testing and he can also still see out of that eye.

I was sold these males as a particular species, but I have doubts they've been correctly identified. (Leaving species unmentioned so I don't skew anyone's brain in that direction. Lol) Can anyone confirm what species these males are for me please?
I live in Oregon, just across the state line in Portland, but it's definitely a bit more of a journey. I think I will research what would be needed to bring a few fish and snails across the border though! Canada DOES look gorgeous though and I would love to visit and just see a new place!!
My thought as well. I'm well versed in the differences of the dorsal fin structure but wasn't sure if there are any other indicators on the body that might be helpful.
This male was sold to me as Piaroa, but I finally saw his dorsal fin today. It looks more like Megaptera to me, however his coloration doesn't match any of the Megaptera pictures I can find. For those familiar with either of these, which do you think this male is?
