this might seem like an odd question, but.. what is the minimum size for apistogramma macmasteri?
I was under the impression that my 23 gallon aquarium was fine for them BUT someone on another forum just told me they should be in minimum 30 - 40 gallon aquariums
My apistogramma macmasteri pair spawned (again) this time i knew what to do and the fry are almost all alive! I lost a few but i guess thats how things go sometimes.
The mother is great and is watching her fry carefully.

a dwarf gourami pair (male and female)
a molly
a platy
5 ember tetras
1 apistogramma (the petshop says its a veijita)
3 sterbai corydoras (i know i need more)
