Just thought I would share a few pics of my cory baby's
I am quite proud of this as it has been 6-7 tries to get these guys past the 2 week stage .
Corydoras napoensis
I picked up 5 of these guys a while back
questions ;
1. Is it typical for them to have red lips ?
2. Is there a way to tell female and males apart ?
3. water conditions for breeding ?
Just wanted to hear from others with experience with this species .
pics ;
How common is there A. sp. rotpunkt and A. alacrina mixed in with A.macmasteri ?
Or could there be another species in with them other than these ?
Just asking as some of the 30 fish I have ( wild ) don't quite look
like mac's , there coloration is off a bit ,body shape is of a mac ...
as the title says just wondering if this correct , P . taeniatus ( nigerian red ) ?
If so does any one have some extra females as I think I may have 2 males
I was at the LFS today and found 8 very small apisto's in a tank of D.filamentosus , there over-all markings were very similar to the young checker boards .
They are 3/8 - 1/2 inch with blue cheek /face markings , the caudal fin has a dense pattern of white bands/spots .
I know this is not...
What is the difference between types I and II ?
Same fish just color morph ?
Different catch locality ?
Just another ploy for wholesalers to sell fish ?
I know they are probably A . papagei
