Today was my societies convention where we had awesome talks from Ian Fuller, Felipe Cantera and Anton Lamboj. At the end we had a large auction.
I managed to walk away with a beautiful youung pair of Apistogramma Allpahuayo 'Yellow' Rio Nany (F1) which I am over the moon about as they were on...
Hi folks,
I am currently seeking two Apistogramma Eremnopyge females for our 'small' male (Imaged below). I have been looking all over the place and can't seem to find anywhere around the Preston (UK) area that has any.
If anyone has any Apistogramma Eremnopyge females then please contact me...
You probably have seen images of our large 'Double Red' male lurking about this forum somewhere.
Well as an update, he passed away a few days ago (He was older than I thought). It is a real shame as he only managed one spawning as his 'Double Red' female was very young before he died.
Today...
Hi folks (again),
I have been meaning to have our wild caught Apistogramma Eunotus in their own thread. You may of seen our male in my colour strain thread?
Thought I'd post some images :):) I could only get images of our male.
Hi folks,
I have been meaning to get some images of our wild caught Apistogramma Barlowi but as they are extremely shy I haven't been successful, until now.
I was only able to image the male as the two females, 'buggered off' when I was close to the tank.
Today saw the purchase of a beautiful pair of A. Borellii. These are the first pair of fish I have (personally) bought since 2002.
They are quite young but you must agree that the male looks bloody stunning already :)
Always loved this fish but (until now) never owned or bred them :)
A few days ago saw the purchase of some Apistogramma sp. Xingu (not sure what strain as they are very young). Unfortunately we have lost one since purchase :( but the others seem okay, though extremely shy.
I will endeavour to get better images once they have fully settled and coloured up. :)
Hi folks,
Today saw the purchase of a very young pair of Apistogramma Trifasciata.
Not sure what colour form they are though as images on various forums etc don't seem to have the colour form of our male, which is primarily blue but with a red band on the caudal fin (any help would be...
Finally, after 3 weeks of trying our beautiful Laetacara Dorsigera finally spawned for the first time a few days ago.
The fry now well in the wriggling stage and should be free swimming within the next few days! (I will try and get an image taken soon) :)
It is really good seeing the male take...
Good afternoon all,
I have recently heard about a few cf's of Eunotus and was wondering if anyone had an idea what cf mine is?
Both male and female are wild caught :D
I can today (as of 5 mins ago) confirm that our lovely pair of Apistogramma Agassizii 'Double Red' have spawned. The female (Not the wild 'Flamenco' female) has laid her eggs on the glass at the very far left corner (within the red circle in the images). She is going absolutely mental at...
This will probably generate some heated discussion!
Today we purchased a beautiful young pair of Apistogramma Viejita (That is what they were sold as).
I couldn't care less if they are Apistogramma MacMasteri as my father wanted a pair of A.MacMasteri for fathers day so win, win.
Please can...
We have a beautiful Apistogramma Agassizii male and I can't remember what colour strain he is.
I think he is a 'Double Red' or 'Super Red'.
Please can someone confirm.
Cheers
Andrew
Hi folks,
We are actively seeking 2x female Eremnopyge for our 'big' male.
When we brought them, they were sold as a pair, and what we thought was a female turned out to be another male.
We can't seem to find anyone that happens to be selling Eremnopyge around the Preston Area (UK).
If...
Good morning all,
I am new to this forum and whilst researching Apistogramma Ermnopyge I came across some fantastic images on this thread. We have two male Eremnopyge (they were sold as a pair when they were small) and they are coloured up beautifully.
I was wondering if our cf is Rio Tigre or...
