Just a general question. Can a male cacatuoide live on its own with out a female. I have one right now hes in a community tank along with 10 neon tetras, a opaline gourami and 3 Rainbow fish. He seems to be doing ok, does he need a female or will he do fine.
Great News I had her in a seperate tank, treated her with salt, she seems super healthy. She is eating like crazy. Thanks for all the help. I did do a 10% water change and added some extra benefical bacteria to even things out.

My ph is 7.0 and ammonia and nitrites are both zero with Nitrates at 20 ppm. Water temp is at 75 deg. I'm going to go buy some small sinking cichlid palletts today. Hopefully that does it from them.
