Ive merely suggested a med thats widely available in the uk from a number of people and companies and has been for a while, Ive never mentioned on here before, not my fault if you are trying to pick holes in it and question it when you have never ever used it :wink:
I have had a case of camallanus worms recently, I would suggest treating it for a month at weekly intervals personally.
If your med doesnt work, try some flubenol 15, that will kill all the worms if used. Have a look on ebay or google it, not many shops sell it unfortunatly

I got some Fubrinol 15 to treat the tanks with, so will see how it goes as a number of people on the discus forum I go to said that will work

Camallanus worms I think .... has just been mentioned on another forum...
Both of my pair of A Hongsloi seem to have swollen anus' and looking at them they seem to have something sticking out of them. I am a bit colour blind, but it looks reddish (to me) and def not normal:mad:

Thanks, next question is has anyone ever kept Tahuantinsuyoa Macantzatza (Inca Stone fish)? thats the other choice, but I couldn't much information on them. I assume A. Eremnopyge will be ok? temp seemed ok on fishbase anyway
Yes, I will have them in QT for a few weeks to start with and med them before adding them. I will have a look at the aspistos you mented, thanks.
As for the heat of the water Greg, I really don't know why they say to have it so high
Could some one tell me if A Baenschi can cope with 29°c/84F please?
Or what species of Apistos I could put in at that temp? (Discus tank)
My other choices are Hongsloi, Eremnopyge or Cacatuoides

To be honest, I am getting no where with them, the ph is 7, kh is 6 and gh is 8, I have got my new tank now, so will be swapping them over in a few days - hopefully they will do better. :confused: I dont want to up the ro water though as I am doing 50/50 cut now and inject c02 but I think it...
I am geeting the tank off a friend (Kingborris) who already keeps discus in it, its not the size you mentioned, cannt remember the size now, but he has it with discus in it now and they are happy enough
