    hi guys! thanks for your inputs.. :) just trying it out my luck with them though, if it does not work, its ok. :) we do practice the offspring x mother trick in flowerhorns here in the Philippines, i dunno with other cichlids, with established genes. i'll update if something happens. :)

    Yup, ive taken care of other fish., at least i have an idea on what to do. :) water change 25% every other day then i put in vitamins. their current diet is mainly blood worms and crushed tetra bits.. i'll try to update you guys every once in a while. :)

    apistos here in the Philippines are still quite rare, especially the very colorful ones. most of them are still imports, but guys here are working on breeding these fish here. :) some are successful already. planning to get a new batch, maybe borelli's or another type. :)
