    they all died a long and painful starvation thanks to the 78 people that read my cry for help but kept there mouths shut. just joking ive moved them to another tank with a fresh crop of copepods for now and will painstakingly feed live daphnia from the petstore.

    hello susan. If your anywhere near edinburgh I can perhaps provide you with flame red female agassizi's. I have around eight juveniles at the moment and I am waiting to determine sex. I would give you all female for nothing, but I dont know if they may turn all male or not, time will tell.

    nice, I love these tanks. Ive got a little tip for you: ivy is great for hiding all your tubing, wiring and tank edge. It grows fast and once it successfully roots down in the water it does an excellent job of biological filtration.

    thanks, ive worked out a happy medium of heating the hatchery for half the original time, it seems to work ok but takes longer to hatch. I might look into cheaper heating methods.
