They should, I remove the dominet [spell check not working] males and the lesser ones will normally become more dominet once the pecking order is reestablished.
You could add some boiled egg yoke [a little goes a long way], I have used this in a pinch with good results and with micro worms [ I have never used and assume there small enough] I would think it would work fine.
I have one male and three females in a 4' tank and I was in the same boat your in, to many fry and nowhere for them to go, school of black neon's no more fry no more problem. When I want more fry I take the male and female and to the breeding tank they go.
Same here my male is a Trippel red and the female [?] is either a trippel red, blue form or fire red, I ordered one pair of each but all died at pet shop except the blue [male] form and the trip. red [male] and a female, I lost the blue form male about two latter.
I feed mine a diet of mostly flake food and live food/frozen three times a week, I have watched more than one grab a strand of java moss rip it off and eat it, I think it's probable that some plant matter is there diet.
If they honor there sale than give them phrase [sp?] but if they dont and just take your money and dont stand behind what they sell than you might just save someone else from getting ripped off.

What I like to do is before getting a pair is to stand in front of the tank for about 10 min. or so and look the fish over good, look at there fins, scales, gills ect.
Pictures before you buy would help.
Welcome to the sight Azbill24, sorry your Viejita are Mac. but there nice looking, your Borellii look like my reg. ones, I hope they turn out to be what you wanted.
Yes, it will go away after a bit, I have a piece of wood that is about 4 months and it still has a thin film on it. I just take it out every month or so and hit it with the water hose, it will get less and less.
Keep a eye on her, if she is yellow she is ready to breed or if your lucky he may have had enough in him to fertilize before he became fertilizer.
can you post a picture of her and the tank?
