    Baenschi, panduro and nijsseni are all great fish. But, in the UK, all of the latter 2 species I have seen lately haven’t looked very good specimens.

    To me, the only species known as a krib is P. pulcher, the most widely available species. I would never refer to a taeniatus or a subocellatus as a krib.

    P. taeniatus had many forms (locations) in the “old days”. Nigerian red, Nigerian green, nange , kienke, moliwe, dehane etc.

    Kribs (the common name) will always be P. pulcher to me.

    When you say “kribs” do you mean P. pulcher? Changing of P. taeniatus to P. kribensis is an annoyance to hobbyists like me.

    Well, that is a lot of tanks. The heat pump will hopefully make things manageable for you in terms of cost. When you breed these fish, where will the fry go? I don’t think there is a huge market in the UK for dwarf cichlids. Bristle nose catfish are already easily available in all fish stores...

    Longfin German Blue Rams

    I agree with what has been said already. However, my guess is that the first picture could be a female and the second is probably a male. For me, rams are about the most difficult fish in the hobby to keep healthy in the long term.
