hello everyone, my female mac has a very dipped stomach but doesn't seem to be exhibiting any signs of distress and is eating well. Parameters are fine, nothing has changed recently but i have noticed how concave her stomach has become. I'm very concerned that she has a parasite, should i treat...
one of your males is missing an eye, and yes from the photos it is definitely 2 males and one female. also they are all borelii blue because they are missing the red stripes on their heads.
Welcome to the site, also you have a beautiful tank.
I agree with yukon, borelii would likely work better, i have kept aggasizii and they would likely not work well with the ottos, borelii are also much more timid and would look better in that tank imo.
hey all,

I know many on this forum have used m.grandiflora leaves before in blackwater tanks, but i am wondering if Magnolia denudata and Magnolia x soulangeana can also be used, because the shape of...

I recommend starting a new thread in a better section for this such as the classified section. There are also groups on the app "band" that could ship apistogramma to you. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum!
You could but its much better to not mix species in that tank, let alone males of the same species. Borellii are pretty small so you could get away with maybe another male and female. The borellii would likely be bossed around by larger more aggressive species such as the macmasteri and...
Welcome to the site, Are the photos of the fish you bought today? if the aggression continues you could re-arrange the decor and re-introduce every fish at the same time, it helps to reestablish territories. also it looks like at least one of of your supposed "females" is a "balloon morph" which...
