I´ve always wondered would it be a viable solution to take for example a Catappa leaf and let it rest partly on a mat of Salvinia or similar? That way the leaf would not sink.

Anyone have any idea what kind of algae is this? Mainly appears at the output of matten cornerfilter.
Really easy to remove, just suck it out. Nannostomus Marginatus likes to nibble at it.
