I love Cacs! I am currently trying to spawn my pair of apistogramma Cacatoides 'orange flash'. I am very very close. They keep flashing at each other, but don't actually get down to business. Can't wait!

I sourced some, will be receiving them soon. (hopefully). If you are looking for some, check out http://purefishworks.com/ and contact shawn! He is a great guy!
That's awesome! I will be creating a nice tank for them. Planning 4-6 in a 75, starting with 8 at a few cm and growing out till a few pairs develop

I am going with Tapajos redhead in my 75g potentially, if it does not become a tank with 50 baby cacutoides as a growout

You are lucky you live near the collection points of all these fish species! What type of medium sized cichlids are you referring to?

Hi Guys,
I have a 10g tank which is holding a pair of A. Cacutoides. It is heavily planted, and both seem comfortable. I have been trying to feed them spirulina pellet and some tropical flake that my other fish love, but they seem to just chew on it and spit it out. Are there any tips or tricks...
