Hard to say for sure with the bright back lighting (I need to see the ventral fins better and the light is to bright) but I'm guessing a young male. How big is the fish?
About 1.5" came in with a bigger male as an extra, and then lost my female when I had some kind of bacterial outbreak in most of my tanks. Have to get another female and wanted to make sure this is a male.
It's hard to sex A. cf. alacrina (Rotpunkt) at that size. Give a few month and check the shape of the tips on the dorsal & anal fins. My smaller male Rotpunkts were always good at being 'sneaker males'.
It looks like a young, possibly submissive male?,.... I have 2.4 group, t his lil guy looks like my two males a few months ago , all my females are more solid yellow. BUT I HAVE been wrong!
