Hey guys.

Quick question for you, What is the difference (if any) between baenschi / baenschi inka /ibaensch inka 50?

I'm considering this as a new project but am a little confused about the name...

This is one and the same fish. A. sp. Inka/Inka50 used to be the trade name for what is known today as Apistogramma baenschi.

Nope, those are two different fish. Look at the dorsal (large top fin along the back of the fish). Baenschi males have extended fin rays while nijesseni and pandoro (the "sky blue" Apisto) don't. The females also have very different color patterns. Baenschi females have tiger striped markings while nijesseni females have a single large spot on their side.
