I've not heard of A. agassizii "Blue Blue". It's probably just a trade name. Without knowing what it is, it is hard to say what conditions it needs.

Hi Mike,

I went off the Polish Apisto galerie photos and that is what it was listed under. It is the Gold form with red finage. Will pick up on 14OCT as they are still in quarantine and will post pics. thanks jk

So they sound like A. agassizi Fire Reds. How on earth could "Blueblue apply?
I have bred wild A. agassizi which were primarily blue with blue-white caudal fin markings. I consider them to be the blue phenotype of A. agassizi.

Now when it comes to names I associate with some excellent tropical fish photography, the name BlueBlue stands out in my mind.
I have seen many of BlueBlue's photos of rare or high quality fish posted frequently on the forum www.aquaticquotient.com.
Great comprehensive fish forum, by the way.
A lot of sharp aquarists and fresh perspectives by the membership and into Apistogramma species in a big way.
Lots of fish most of us have rarely been able to get.
As a photo credit it now makes much more sense.
Thanks for jogging my memory.
