Well, I guess it's too late. My male seems like he is going to die. He is not moving, and barely is barely breathing. He was only 1 1/2 years old, does anyone have any suggestions as to why he may have died? I would like to avoid this in the future.

I agree, the borelli's will have a nice home in your natural tank. You have done a good job at simulating a natural environment. I keep a pair in a ten gallon with 3 pristella tetras and 1 otocinclus. They have plenty of room, so your tank should give your male more room to hide from the female...

The marks seem to run along its lateral line. I think it must be ok, because the fish is acting quite normal again. The only reason it worried me is because two of the curviceps died, and this one seemed to be acting reclusive. Thanks for your help everyone!:)

The curviceps seems to interacting a little bit more in the past couple of days. Anything I can do to kill off the last of the dots?
