Anyone have experiences with ANY species of Apisto and Turquoise Rainbows?

    Apistogramma panduro

Lovely fish.... Not to hijack your thread (please have the mod's delete this if you choose) - my Panduro do not have the large black marking at the tail fin like yours. You are in France - I am in the US - I'm guessing different breeding patterns have developed the different markings...

    Hello from Wirral England

Love your tank set up! I hope you still have the Buddha - a friend of mine had one in her 120 Gallon set up (it was a very large Buddha face) and she swore it opened it's eyes at night! That Face scared the crap out of me, when I walked around in the room I always felt it was watching me -...

    MacMasteri - right?

Thank you for clarifying, I do have a couple of ladies and a couple more males... But I want to get another pair and then let them breed with fish that are not siblings...

    MacMasteri - right?

Purchased a group of MacMasteri and they have now grown to sexable id. I would like to breed the fish, but since these are siblings I want to purchase a different pair. However, before I make a purchase I'd like to confirm the species - these are MacMasteri right (not Red Neck, Veijeta or some...

    South American Biotope (Planning)

Locdog: how are you measuring the ph value with dark water? I use the API test kits which change clear water to different colors - I don't think the liquid kits will work with tea colored water?
