Hi,
Wonder if Mike can enlighten me. I saw your post on another thread of this specimen of fish.
So is mine a "Sao Gabriel". A. sp. Breitbinden (São Gabriel) or A. sp. Breitbinden shipped from São Gabriel?
The apisto has develop much more the the picture.
Are they easy to keep?
Currently I am only keeping a pair of ap Bitaeniata & A. iniridae.
Currently the tank ph is around 5.5 (ADA Africana and Sera Peat). How do I bring down the PH to below 5?
Regards
Nicholas

I was wondering if anyone has keep these species before. I would like to learn more about the living enviroment and rearing of them before purchasing a pair of them in the future.
Wonder is there anyone who can enlighten me or is there any website to learn more about these apistos...
Any moderator can help?

Hi Mike,
As I am really very new into this hobby.
Could you enlighten me on my apisto.
When I gotten them from HK. The shop specially ordered this from Mr Whelmi.
So is my apisto A viejita or A macmasteri?
I have seen blue blue A viejita from Whelmi, it looks very different from mine...
A penny of my thought
When I experience the BGA for my 3ft planted tank. What I did was to do a total blackout of the tank.
I switched off the lights for 4 days and used newspaper to cover up the glass of the tank.
By the 4 or 5 day, almost 80 to 90 percent of the BGA is gone.
