Hi all -
My female A. aggassizii 'Double red' keeps laying eggs, but for some reason they are never fertile (turn white after a few days). Any tips on how I can get the male to do his job? Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.
John
The pair in the photo is in my 55 gallon community tank. The first time they spawned, I got wigglers. At the time I wasn't prepared to feed them, and lost them. Now that I am prepared to feed and care for the young, the parents keep eating the eggs (funny how that works). They are a young pair...
Thanks Cathy, I placed an order with Charles today from the site above. I was also told I could order from the site below:
http://www.midstateswoolgrowers.com or phone 1-800-841-9665.
Seems my new Apisto has Camallanus. I've read that Levacide (levamisole hydrochloride) is the way to go. Does anyone know where I can order some online in the States? I live in NYC, so not many farms here. Thanks in advance.
Great looking fish, best of luck with them!!!
What kind of leaves do you have in there, and can you let me know the benefits of them. I'm pretty new to dwarf cichlids, so any advise you can give would be great. Thanks in advance.
