have just picked up,

The choke and lead work out at about £27-00 or $42-00 and the tubes about £6-50 or $10-20. There not cheep but when you think that you get 80w over 5 feet it probably work out cheep than standard tubes. Though they are still only any good for tank up to 18".

When it come to lighting i was going to have 3 - 80w T5 lights these tobes give out about 1.5 times as much light per w as normal tubes.

I think my "inka50" have spawned which is quite surprising because the tank has a high ph or 7.6 and a t.d.s. of 227.

If you where to release a pair of Apistogrammas in to a pond or stream with no competition they would probably if conditions where right produce a viable population but with a very small gene pool.
Inbred mutations of a detrimental type would occur but would be very unlikely to reach adult...
All my apistogrammas are wild.
Why is this,
1) I can guarantee that the fish will not be inbred.
2) They will show there full range of behaviour.
I am lucky that my wild fish come from a very good wholesaler which has its own lab so that when a fish dies it is dissected and the cause...
No i payed about £15-00 each for five fish which is about $120 in total.
But as i have said before no one is too sure at the moment what they are, but what ever they are they are very intresting and well worth the price.

A. sp"Inca50" = A. sp. "Inca" - High-finned Nijsenni
A. sp."glazer" = A. sp. 'Maulbruter'
