Thanks to both of you. I myself doesn't think they look different from a "normal" borelli. I did buy some. The good thing is that they were much cheaper but as good looking.

I need help to find out what this is. Sold as A tucurui but i have my doubts. Sometimes i think they look like Steindechneri and sometimes i have no clue at all.

Is it the ones with the red stripes on the tail fin you connect to the Macmasteri subcomplex? Or is it also those with the more clear yellow tail fin? There are those that more or less have an uncoloured tail fin.
Unfortunately it seems like there are only males in this batch.

I been picking up a wild catch of Apistogramma from a store. They sold as Apistogramma cf sp Hoignei. They didn't want to say for sure that it is Hoignei.
