You can tell if they’re eating BBS because their little stomachs will look orange.
BBS will live for a little while in fresh water. I’m talking an hour or two. If there are still BBS swimming in the container after an hour then you might be over feeding them.

I recently purchased 6 wild juvenile fish that were labeled as juruensis. Two of them are starting to color up and show sexual dimorphism and I was wondering if anyone could give me a positive ID. More pictures available if needed. Thanks!

Yes, that's true A .panduro form pairs. The best way to get a pair is to purchase 6+ juveniles and to let them pair up naturally. Then sell the non-paired individuals.
Picked this guy up in an auction about a year ago. Going to try to spawn A. norberti and obviously need to get one of the opposite sex.
